Hawaii Five-0 - Ne Me'e Laua Na Paio
Five-0 combs a convention to find the killer of a sci-fi fan who was thrown out of a high-rise window. A CIA agent who's interested in the Yakuza that killed McGarrett's parents shows up in town to meet with Steve.

Full Recap
The Five-0 team is called to investigate a poolside death at a hotel. All is well until a costumed man falls to his death next to the hotel pool. McGarrett and team must figure out who on the island would want this man dead. The team learns that the victim had been in town to attend a Cosplay convention – a gathering of anime and sci-fi fans that dress up as their favorite characters.
The victim had come to the convention with the intention of meeting a woman that he'd been having a relationship with online. Things were going as planned until the woman's ex-husband, who had learned of the relationship, beat the victim. The ex-husband, however, did not beat him hard enough to kill the victim. The Five-0 team figures this out and believes it to be a case of mistaken identity.
The victim's body was then thrown into a room at the hotel that belonged to a thief. The thief had been targeting high-end, expensive houses on Oahu in order to support his own crazy, partying lifestyle. The thief had been stealing things that were definitely worth killing for and he feels like he has a target on his back though he has no idea who is trying to kill him. McGarrett and his team find the thief's loot and start sifting through it for clues. Among the stolen items, they find a flash drive hidden in the loot. The flash drive has evidence of an old murder and they use this evidence to find the killer and solve the old murder case.
The team also meets a CIA analyst, Jenna Kye. Jenna is on leave and offers to help McGarrett investigate Wo Fat.

Hawaii Five-0 - Season 1, Episode 18 - Loa Aloha

 Hawaii Five-0 - Loa Aloha

Five-0 must find a bomber out for revenge before he can set more bombs and kill more people. Danny's brother Matt is in town but a family reunion isn't the reason.

Full Recap
In the Kawailoa Forest Reserve, people are having fun gliding through the air on a rope pulley. A man asks his daughter how she talked him into it, and she tells him he has to do something for his sixtieth birthday. As she gets strapped in and pushes off the man gets a call. The caller knows he's Judge Kamalei and notes his daughter's quite an adventurer. He asks what the last thing he said to her was before she left the platform and hopes he said goodbye. As he's talking, the rope snaps and the judge's daughter falls straight down into the forest.

Danny is getting out of an elevator with Grace and asks if she's excited to see her Uncle Matt. She is and adds he's the coolest ever and Danny tells he thought himself to be the coolest ever. Grace knocks on the door of a hotel room and a voice on the other side tells her to come in. They go in and don't see anyone but a large pile of gifts on a table. Danny's younger brother Matt pops up from behind it and gives Grace a hug. He then hugs Danny who tells him it's been too long as he's already been in Hawaii for a year. Matt tells him he can't believe he moved to Hawaii and Danny looks at Grace and says it was worth it. Matt asks how things are with Rachel and Danny leads him away from Grace and says they are better and he and Rachel can have civil conversations. He asks what Matt is doing in Hawaii and Matt insists he's just there for fun and adds Danny is a spoil sport with a lack of adventurous spirit. Danny gets a call and tells Matt he has to go to work and opts to take Grace back to Rachel's, but Matt offers to watch her. This surprises Danny but Matt insists they can hang out for the day and meet Danny for dinner.

Steve is on the platform in the reserve and calls Chin and tells him they need to expand the grid search to a half mile radius as he found the end of the zipline is charred and thinks it was an explosive. He also found evidence of an electronic trigger. He tells Chin for someone to blow the zipline out, they would've had to have been close. On the ground, Chin takes a picture of tire tread marks. Kono asks Judge Kamalei what he remembers about the call. Judge Kamalei says it was from an unknown number and he had a thin, raspy voice he didn't recognize, but the caller knew who he was. He thinks the caller was watching them, as one minute his daughter was waving goodbye, and then... he goes to collect himself. Kono notes he's single father with one kid and Danny adds he lost all the family he has. Kono asks if he thinks the daughter was a target or collateral damage. Danny thinks the phone call makes her the target and the killer was taunting him. Danny orders a full protective detail on the judge as the killer's probably not done.

At headquarters, Chin shows them the pictures of the tire tracks he found in an area that's off limits to vehicles and they're recent and well within sight of the platform. They look to be from an SUV or a light pick-up truck. Danny couldn't trace the call made to the judge, but the fragments Steve found were from an RF receiver usually found in walkie-talkies or remote control cars. Kono has been trying to find the judge's thread file, which are any written or verbal threats against him. So they're looking for someone male, violent and has an ax to grind. Chin adds anyone who puts away hardened criminals will have a deep suspect pool. Upon seeing how deep, Steve says they have to narrow it down and buff up the judge's security detail so they'll be ready when the killer comes back for the judge.

Steve has made sure the judge is secure and Danny and Kono are going to see the prosecutor tomorrow. In the meantime, Steve is going with Danny to pick up Grace, much to Danny's confusion. Steve is curious about Danny's brother and Danny warns him he has quite the personality...disorder. They see Matt with Grace and Rachel and Matt waves them over. Danny asks Rachel why she's there and Matt tells Danny he invited her as it's been a long time since they've all been together. Danny introduces Steve to Matt and Rachel asks if Danny's staying. Danny asks where Stan is, but he's away on business as usual. Steve tells him to stay but he'll leave but Matt invites him to stay as well. Danny and Steve pull up chairs to the table.
They are there long enough the sun sets and they're all still sitting around the table. Danny and Matt are telling stories while a guy at the bar keeps a wary eye on them. Grace has fallen asleep and Danny mutters to Steve that the two guys at the bar, one of them came out of Matt's room in a waiter's uniform and the two guys are getting up, so Steve and Danny do as well. They go after the men and catch up with them in the lobby. They both have FBI badges and Danny asks what he wants with Matt and the agent tells him it's an active investigation. Steve whips out his phone and calls the governor, but the agents think he's bluffing. Steve hands the phone over to him and he still doesn't believe it, but the governor yells at him and he apologizes and hangs up. He then tells Danny Matt is being accused of defrauding his investors out of millions of dollars. Danny tells them his brother runs a hedge fund and tells them they're wrong. The agent tells him it's their job to make sure he doesn't go overseas before he gets indicted. He hands Danny a card and adds they'll prosecute him for obstruction if he says anything to his brother. The agents walk away and Danny begins to pace. He tells Steve his brother may be a lot of things, but a criminal isn't one of them. Steve says he could've been set up and Danny tells him after he and Rachel split, he started staying at a motel and Matt would come over every night. They would talk and drink and Matt would go to work the next morning and did this every day for six months. He adds he wouldn't have gotten through it if not for Matt and he didn't do this. Steve believes him but tells him he has to talk to his brother, family comes first.

Kono introduces Steve to deputy prosecutor James Chen. Chen gives Steve Kamalei's threat file and tells him Kamalei is what's known as a hanging judge, he's put away a lot of violent offenders and not many get back out. Steve asks if any stand out and Chen tells him a Drew Pirizzi fits the bill. He rigged his ex's house to burn down after she dumped him. He also attacked the judge in open court and it took a bailiff and two armed guards to restrain him. And he got parole two weeks ago. Chen tells them Pirizzi is staying at an old girlfriend in the Wahiawa apartment complex.

Steve and Chin are on both sides of the apartment door. Chen is saying goodbye to his son as he gets into his car. Chen then gets a call from the same person who called the judge and has a similar conversation to the one he had with the judge. Chen begs him not to do it and the caller says he hopes he said goodbye as Chin and Steve burst in on Pirizzi in bed with his girlfriend, and Chen watches his son's car burst into flames.

At the crime scene, Steve picks up a piece of rubble. Chin remarks it couldn't have been Pirizzi as they were with him when the bomb went off and the remote detonate trigger, the bomber had to have been close by. Kono has got a bag full of cameras and cell phones from tourists who were around when the bomb went off. Steve adds now they have to look at cases with Chen and Kamalei. Kono wonders if it's about revenge, why not go after them, but target their kids?

Matt is on the phone in his hotel room when Danny comes in. He's surprised to see Danny and Danny asks if he's doing business. Matt tells him it's a new client who lives on the north shore and Danny points out he's on vacation and asks about the new client. Matt tells him his current clients told the new clients about him and as he talks, Danny takes a picture of a card that reads "Waioleka Charters" on his coffee table. Matt comes back in the room and asks why he's asking so many questions. He tells Danny he has meet the new client right now and they can hang later.

Kono cross referenced Kamalei's threat file with cases both he and Chen had in common, focusing on violent offenders and parolees. When she didn't find any matches, she focused on the cameras and cell phones she collected at the scene of the crime. Several tourists took pictures right before or after the explosion at different angles. Steve clarifies the killer might be in one of the photos and Kono adds with the tire prints they're looking for an SUV. Steve spots a red SUV in one picture and when Kono blows it up, he sees the wheel wells are all muddy and the tire matches the treads found in the forest. Kono didn't get a shot of the plates, but sees what could be a rental tag on the bumper. Steve gets a call from Danny who tells him he's going to be a while. Steve asks what Danny's going to do and doesn't believe Danny when he answers nothing. Steve tells him not to go anywhere and he'll be there soon.

Chin shows a picture of a piece of rubble to a girl in a shop and asks if she sold any lately. She tells him a haole came in last week and bought three and he had a dark hair and a goatee. He calls Kono and fills her in and tells her the remote control planes have a range of a 1000 feet and Kono says it looks like they have one less target.

In Kahala neighborhood, Danny and Steve are tailing Matt. Danny tells Steve to slow down but Steve tells him he wouldn't recognize the truck and they stop when Matt pulls in a driveway. Danny calls the number off the card on Matt's table and finds Matt doesn't have a listing but they fly out of a Hawaiian airport. Danny puts headphones on and holds up a funnel and laments it's sick he's doing this as Matt knocks on the door. He can hear him now and watches as a man frisks Matt and another man invites him in. There is some static and Danny loses the sound. Steve asks what's going on and Danny tells him Matt told him he was going to a business meeting but gets patted down before a business meeting? Steve answers, someone who doesn't want to get caught.

Danny goes to the hotel where he finds Rachel, Grace and Matt. Danny asks Matt how his meeting went and he tells him it went really well and Rachel picks up on a vibe and her and Grace get up. Grace heads out to the water, but Rachel hangs back and listens to Danny ask Matt if he helps the rich get out of their taxes. Matt tells him he'd like to help get everyone out of their taxes, not just the rich. Matt tells Danny he's kidding and to lighten up. Grace calls to him and he runs out and joins her in the water. Rachel sits down next to Danny and asks what's going on. Danny tries to brush it off but she can see through it and asks what's wrong. Danny looks out at Matt and Grace in the water and tells Rachel not to tell anyone, but the FBI is after Matt. Rachel asks if Danny believes he's guilty and Danny tells her he doesn't want to and he hasn't talked to Matt about it. Rachel tells him he needs to as Grace and Matt wave from the water.
In Matt's hotel room, Danny tells Matt he needs to talk to him about something. Matt thinks it's about Rachel and adds he knew Danny still had feelings for her when he saw them at dinner. Danny tells him it's not about Rachel and asks what's going on with Matt. Matt says nothing and asks why and Danny brings up the indictment. Matt goes on the defensive and Danny starts yelling at him for lying and Matt admits he took the money. Danny asks what he was thinking and now their parents and sisters will be involved. Matt tells him he made a mistake and adds Danny likes to be the guy people think does everything right, but he's made mistakes. Danny asks why, and Matt admits he lost $58 million in one day. He had to cover it, so he took some money from his other clients. He was hoping if he could cover his tracks, no one would know. Danny asks why he didn't come to him and Matt points out he's a cop and Danny retorts he's his brother first and he'd help him. Matt laments he thought about turning himself in but he couldn't. Danny asks why he came to Hawaii and Matt admits it was to cut another deal and try and buy his way out, but it fell through. Danny tells him they are going to New York and talking to the FBI and Matt will fess up to everything, and most likely go to jail. But Danny promises to talk to the district attorney and they'll get through it together. Matt says this will kill their parents, and Danny tells him to pack a bag and he'll be back in a couple hours.

Kono has cross checked red SUVs with cases involving Chen and Kamalei and found one match, a man named Travis Roan. He used to work on a construction site and spent years in a Wyoming prison for aggravate assault. Steve is confused, but Kono says his son was tried in Hawaii. Thomas Roan got 18 months for a DUI when he got stabbed in a mess hall fight and died in prison ten days ago. Chen and Kamalei were on his case, meaning Roan is looking for payback for his dead son. Kono tried to find another target, but all Kamalei remembered about the case was the flood of appeals that came after the verdict. The appeals came from Thomas's mom.

Steve and Chin go see Elizabeth Roan and fill her in on everything and Steve asks if she knows where Travis is. She thought he was back in Wyoming and tells them he was only in town for Thomas's funeral. She tells them Thomas couldn't wait to get out of Wyoming and thought of Hawaii as paradise, but got pulled over for a DUI his first semester. The judge and prosecutor had to make an example of him because it was the third DUI that week in Waikiki. Thomas was also underage and hit a fancy car, so he got eighteen months. Elizabeth moved down to Hawaii to appeal and her ex-husband took that hard as they wouldn't let him visit his son. She adds Thomas was only thirteen when his dad went to jail, and they wrote letters but hadn't seen each other since. Steve asks if there was anyone else Travis blamed for Thomas's death, but Elizabeth says no, the thing he kept saying at the funeral was he never got to say goodbye. Steve asks where Travis was staying.

Steve and Chin burst into the Kuhio beach motel but the room is empty. Steve notes the sink is wet and he was just here and shaved. Chin finds a photo of Thomas and letters from Thomas to his dad on the table. Steve looks under the bed and finds the airplane kits with one remote missing. In the letters, Chin finds they're always blaming someone named Meachum who convinced him to take the deal who was his lawyer.

Steve tells Danny Travis is after Brian Meachum, the public defender's kid and warns Danny to be careful, as Travis is unstable and carrying explosives.

At the middle school, Brian Meachum is looking for his backpack when Travis hands it to him. He says someone must be messing with him and to be sure to double check his homework.
Kono tells Steve she hasn't gotten ahold of Diane Meachum yet, and Steve tells her the planes have a range of 1000 feet so if she finds them, Travis can't be too far away. In the parking lot, Brian runs by Travis sitting in the red SUV. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out his cell phone. Brian gets into his mother's car right as her phone goes off. She answers it and Steve tells her to get out of the car and not to touch anything. They get out of the car and Kono hurries them away while Danny goes up to the window and faces Travis. Travis says Brian's only thirteen just like Thomas was when he got locked up. He reaches for the remote. He says Thomas is gone and he starts to cry. Danny grabs the remote and gets Travis out of the car.
Steve joins Danny sitting on the curb. Danny says he has to get back to his brother, who was going to run. Steve tells him he's sorry and offers a ride to the airport.

Night has fallen and Danny and Steve are approaching Matt's hotel room when they hear people saying he's not there. They get out their guns and go in and find the FBI there and the agent from before tells them to stand down. The agent asks Danny where Matt is and adds the phone's dead and he switched cars and he tipped them off before the deal went down. Steve asks what he's talking about and the agent shows him a video of Matt making a deal with the leader of cartel to launder his drug money. The meet was supposed to go down today and they were going to take him down when he had the money. The agent asks Danny, but Danny insists he doesn't know where he is. Steve tells Danny to tell the agent what he told him. He gives the agent a false location and the FBI leaves. Danny thanks Steve and heads out.

In his car, Danny gets Matt's voicemail. He pulls up and sees Matt about to get on a plane. He calls his name and brandishes his gun. Matt asks if he's going to shoot him and Danny asks what's the matter with him. Matt tells him he had no choice and Danny retorts he gave him a choice and Matt tells him it's not that simple and they'e not kids anymore. Danny tells him to turn himself in and Matt tells him he wouldn't survive prison, he's not strong enough, he's not Danny. Danny asks if it's getaway money, and Matt tells him he was trying to fix things. Danny asks if he's going to fly off and forget about him and Grace. They're his family. Matt tells him this ends one of two ways; Danny either shoots him or says goodbye. The brothers stare at each other until Danny puts down his gun. He watches forlorn as his brother gets on the plane and looks back at him. He goes inside and the door to the plane closes. Danny watches as the plane takes off into the night sky.

Rachel answers the door and finds Danny on her front step. Danny is on the verge of tears and tells her Matt's gone. He lost him. Rachel hugs him tightly.

Trivia
The final sequence of the episode is in homage to the first episode of the series in which Mary Alice killed herself. Being the show's 150th episode, this is a very appropriate move by the series' creators. The final moments of the sequence are shot to match the original visuals that surround Mary Alice's iconic death sequence. Considering the character who dies also happens to be Paul's wife, it is all the more interesting.

Full Recap
Lynette Scavo had lost a lot of sleep over the years. There had been 3 AM feedings... temperatures of 102... and late night pillow fights. But Lynette had never complained, because a mother is always on call.
Lynette is sleeping peacefully, but is woken up by one of her twins, who asks her if they have eggs, where do they keep them, and how does one make an omelet. Lynette comes downstairs, telling him it's easier if she just makes the omelets herself for the twins to eat, but is startled to see they've brought girls over, whom they met at a party. She calls the twins to the side, to tell them they can't do that, they can't bring girls home whenever they please, and finds out they've been doing that for moths.
Yes, Lynette Scavo had lost a lot of sleep over the years, and she was getting tired of it.
The following morning, the twins come downstairs and are greeted by their parents, who don't look very happy. Tom hands them the classified ads, and Lynette warns them they have seven days to move out of the house. They are not happy to hear this, and Porter says they had promised him he could stay in the Scavo household until he graduated from college, but it seems as though they've changed their minds. The twins say they like it there, and Lynette replies that they are too spoiled in their own home, and thus they need to grow up and learn to be independent, and that's gonna start with them getting their own place. Porter asks how they're gonna pay for it, and Tom hints that they should get jobs. After they've left, Tom asks his wife if she think they're ready, and Lynette says she doesn't, but the twins are drifting through life and they need to push them in the right direction.
Later, the twins set up the car and prepare to leave, with their parents showing their pride in them in the meantime. Lynette asks when they will be able to see the twins' new place, and is told to wait a few days so that they can set everything up. Lynette then takes a picture of them on her cell phone, and says she will treasure that memory forever. After they drive away, Lynette tells Tom she realizes this is a good move for them, but she misses them already. Tom embraces her, but is surprised to see the twins park by Mrs. McCluskey's house across the street. They get out of the car, and Karen comes out of her house, shouting to her husband that their new tenants have arrived. Tom and Lynette become less than happy to witness this, and the latter immediately deletes the picture she took from her cell phone.
Lynette and Tom discuss the twins' current situation. Tom says what they did isn't exactly "leaving the nest", but Lynette is confident that a tough old lady like Karen McCluskey can whip their boys hard. However, soon afterwards, Karen calls her over the phone asking her how one prepares a Denver omelet, because the twins said the ones their mom makes are better than the ones Karen makes. Lynette says she'll be right over. In their household, the boys' girlfriends from the other night are there, sharing vapid stories. Karen says Lynette's there to share some recipes with her, and then she tells the boys she'll leave their clean clothes by the foot of their beds. Lynette is concerned that she's actually doing all that for them, but Karen says she doesn't mind it, having the boys over is a real treat for her and Roy. Lynette says the whole point of them moving out was for them to grow up, but it seems as though they just moved from her boob to Karen's. She calls her to a sidebar, saying they need to learn to be responsible, and Karen explains to her they've been the perfect tenants so far. Lynette uses the example of them bringing two girls overnight as an excuse to justify her complaints, but Karen indicates that the girls are great at helping Roy getting his juices flowing, which she then uses to her advantage. Lynette is creeped out by this.
Later, Lynette visits the twins and brings them a big keg of beer to congratulate them for actually stepping out on their own. The twins say they can't drink so much beer by themselves, so Lynette suggests that they throw a big party for all their friends to come, so they can show them their new digs.
Lynette is startled when Karen brings the boys to her house by their ears, after the party they've thrown got her house trashed with toilet paper on the outside. So she's returning them. Lynette keeps them from slacking off yet again, saying they'll be cleaning up McCluskey's home and checking the rental ads again. The twins aren't budging, though, and Lynette says she feels sorry for them, because they are too helpless. Porter and Preston then tell her she is responsible for that, because she was always too overprotective of them, and condescending. Everytime they tried to do something, Lynette always said it was easier and better if she did it herself. Lynette realizes they have a point, after all, she wanted them to stay kids for too long. She wanted them to have a childhood because she never did, having a crazy mother and needing to take care of her two younger sisters. Lynette will be more supportive from then on, and starts by teaching them how to make omelets.

Susan is driving to the hospital, sipping coffee, and talking on the phone. It appears as though her insurance only covers part of her dialysis treatment. She can't afford to pay for the rest of it herself, and she needs treatment three times a week. To avoid hitting a chipmunk along the way, she accidentally spills coffe on herself and becomes distracted, not making a full stop at a stop sign and getting pulled over by a police officer, who asks her to show him her license and registration. She apologizes, claiming she got distracted by her phone call and spilling the coffee, and now she is going to be late for her dialysis, which means all the good chairs will be gone once she gets there and she'll have to spend the following six hours sitting next to the bathroom and listening to people flushing the toilet. The cop tells her he doesn't want to delay her, so he lets her go with a warning, wishing her good luck afterwards. Susan thanks him, and gleefully thanks dialysis for getting her off the hook.
Later, Susan and MJ are in line at a grocery store, and the latter is impatient because they are gonna take a long while, and he wants to watch his "Tom & Jerry" cartoons. Susan had promised him they would be home in time for him to watch them. She apparently has an idea, and asks her son to go and grab her some foil. In the meantime, she asks the people in front of her to let her go ahead, claiming that otherwise she will be late for her dialysis appointment. The customers oblige, but when MJ comes back, he is delighted to learn they will be home in time for his cartoons after all, and tells it out loud. The customers are negatively surprised by this, and Susan awkwardly explains that Tom is her doctor and Jerry is the nurse, and when she is late they really go at each other.
Susan is visiting Renee and trying to get out of a chore over the phone, saying she will be too busy with dialysis, and is successful. It turns out she was just excused from jury duty, over the phone. Renee says "Susan! Using your disease to manipulate and deceive people? I've never felt closer to you." Susan explains that she deserves some spoils, after all, this disease has changed her life, she has to spend six hours hooked up to a machine three times a week. Renee incites her to take her out for lunch at a new fancy restaurant, "Girard's", which doesn't accept reservations and thus keeps their customers waiting for hours for a table to become available. Susan agrees to do so, and Renee says that "bad kidney Susan" is way more fun than "2 kidney Susan". They have a toast with their drinks.
At "Girard's", Renee asks the receptionist for a table, but is shot down. However, Susan brings up her dialysis story to touch the woman's emotional side, and the latter agrees to see what she can do for them. However, an African-American couple approaches them, and asks why they are getting special treatment when they've been waiting for 45 minutes. He's got diabetes, and his wife has arthritis, but they're not trying to get ahead of others using that as an excuse. Susan explains to him that dialysis trumps their situations, and unless someone there has Ebola they should get the next table. The man tells her the only special thing about Susan is the fact that she thinks she is more special than everyone else, which she isn't. Susan tells the receptionist Renee used to be married to a Yankee, but the woman doesn't respond to that. They go to the back of the line and Susan says she needs to sit down because she isn't feeling well, and then she drops to the floor. Renee thinks it's all an act and calls her up on it, saying no one is even looking, but then realizes it is for real and asks for someone to call an ambulance.

Gabrielle and Carlos are packing up and preparing to leave for Gaby's hometown, but she isn't too ecstatic about it, claiming it's a horrible place full of bigoted rednecks. Carlos says they both know why she doesn't want to go, and it's not about the town. Gabrielle becomes uncomfortable. It appears as though Dr. Wyner asked her to write a letter to her deceased stepfather, Alejandro, about what he did to her, and afterwards read it at his grave. Carlos says she doesn't have to do that if she doesn't want to, but he really wishes she would.
Gaby and Carlos arrive at the former's home town by cab, and she says it can actually be worst than she remembered it. A transeunt approaches them, and recognizes Gabrielle as the supermodel she once was, welcoming her back to her town. The woman asks Gaby what brought her back, but the latter is distracted by the sight of a nun crossing the street, and when the nun sees her, Gaby tells Carlos they should check into the hotel, clearly wanting to get out of there quickly. Carlos says he though they were gonna go to the cemetery first, but she says it's been a long trip and she wants to lie down for a few minutes. They get back into the cab and the nun watches as they go away.
Later, Gaby and Carlos head on over to a local café where the former's family used to eat. Inside the shop, they are surprised to see several magazine covers and pictures featuring Gabrielle, from her old glory days. The waitress recognizes her instantly, and lets her know what a big fan she is. A customer asks her to tell her chauffeur (referring to Carlos) to take a picture of them. Carlos obliges. The clientel is very excited, wanting more pictures taken and even autographs signed. Principal Gomez, who runs the school of Las Colinas that Gabrielle attended, asks her to give a speech to the local young girls. Gaby is reluctant, but the principal says he can call the press to be there too. She accepts, even though Carlos tells her they have to leave the following day at 10. Gaby acceps to at the school at noon, and tells her husband their flight can be changed. She then proceeds to ask if anyone else wants their picture taken with her, and the crowd goes wild.
In her hotel room, Gaby talks on the phone to the local newspaper, which is doing a cover story on her, titled "Solis So Lovely". Carlos says she's still got to complete her goal of reading a letter at her stepfather's grave, but she says she doesn't need, she's starting to heal because she's being treated as a celebrity, which is great, because when she was young and living there she always felt like she was nothing. Carlos doesn't believe that that's enough, but she tells him it is for her.
At the Catholic school, Gabrielle warns the young girls to stay away from Math and Science, which, according to her, can cause some serious frown lines. Carlos is displeased by this. The principal approaches them and brings with him Sister Marta, the nun Gaby spotted on the street the day before. The nun asks her what brought her back, and Gabrielle answers by saying it was some personal stuff. Sister Marta says she looks as though she's enjoying herself, which doesn't surprise her, as she always loved being the center of attention. The nun walks away, and Carlos asks his wife who she was. Gaby tells him she'll be right back, and follows the nun, telling her they need to talk. The nun agrees to do so, and Gaby asks her if she remembers a conversation they had at that school 20 years before. Apparently, Gabrielle told the nun what was happening with her stepfather, and Sister Marta refused to believe her, blaiming her claims on her imagination, which she must've acquired from reading trashy books and magazines she always sneaked into class. The nun still doesn't believe her. Gaby had come to her with a secret, a big, horrible secret, one she couldn't tell her mother or the rest of her family. She felt like she could trust Sister Marta, being a teacher, and a nun. So she told her, and heard in return that she was a liar and she should be ashamed of it, and she's been ashamed of it ever since. The nun asks her if she returned to blame her for everything, and Gaby answers that she came back because her therapist asked her to read a letter out loud at the grave of the man who abused her. But now she realizes she needs to tell the nun what she feels instead. She did not deserve what happened to her, she was a child, but the nun was a grown-up who did nothing, and she is the one who should be ashamed of herself. Gaby leaves, and Carlos asks her if everything is ok. Gaby says it is, and they can go home now.

Mike is driving Zach to rehab, and Paul is sitting in the backseat, beside his son. Zach is going cold turkey, and tells them he doesn't need to go to rehab. He and Paul get into arguing, with the former telling his father he's responsible for what happened to him. Paul snaps at him, and Mike tells him to take it easy. Zach says he's fine, and Paul yells that he can't be fine because he shot his own father, so he's got two options now: he either goes to rehab, or to jail. Zach calms down.
Beth is preparing dinner when Paul comes home, and asks him how everything went with Zach, and whether he got him checked in. Paul says "It's done". Beth says she's relieved. After the riot, she was so hopeful when he'd told her they should go away for a while, but then afterwards it seemed as though he'd become distant yet again. She doesn't blame him, as she can't imagine what he went through, but now they can put that behind them, and start anew. She puts her arm around and feels something weird in his back. It's her gun, which he borrowed for protection. He then asks her why she felt the need to bring a gun into their home, which isn't very romantic. Beth doesn't answer and becomes emotional, taking the gun and putting it away in a drawer, saying that if it bothers him so, they can get rid of it. She then asks him if he's upset with her, if that's why he's acting the way he is. Paul says he has a lot on his mind, and Beth tells him she understands that, but now that Zach is in rehab, they can get things back to normal between them. Paul hints that things can't really get back to normal once someone you hold so close betrays you. He then leaves her alone.
In rehab, Paul visits Zach and demands him to tell his father why he shot him. Zach says he wanted his father to die, because he hated him all his life. Paul says that isn't true. Zach says the hate was always a part of him, and it started getting bigger, and one day he realized that such hate was all he was. Paul says that was the drugs' fault, but Zach explains that it was his father's fault, because that's what he does best, he turns people against him, he's evil. Paul says Zach has no idea what he is, how he feels or what he's been through. He then refers to the day Mary Alice shot herself, but Zach says he can't use that as an excuse for what he is, because he is the reason his mom committed suicide. Paul tells him that isn't true. Zach realizes he really hurt Paul. He then tells him trying to kill him was stupid, because him being alive and knowing the truth is way better. Paul tells him his mother loved him, to which he replies no one could ever love Paul.
Later that night, Paul is sitting on his bed, waiting for Beth to get out of the bathroom, as she had just taken a shower. She comes out and notices a big packed bag, and thus asks him if he's going anywhere. She tells her she's the one who'll be going away. He then drags her outside, saying he knows what she is. Beth is surprised by this. She tries to explain. Paul says at least Felicia had the guts to hate him in his face. Beth says she did hate him at first, because her mother had told her to, but that all changed, he changed her, he made her fall in love with him. However, Paul isn't buying any of it, and throws her out anyway. Beth swears to God she loves him, but Paul says she doesn't, because no one could ever love him. He then gives her the gun, and shuts the door on her face.

Keith is teaching Charlie how to play baseball in Bree's front lawn, and Bree watches them from inside her house. Amber drives up and tells her son they need to go, so that they can pack up and leave for Florida the following day. Keith comes inside, and Bree says she wishes he had more time to spend with Charlie. He tells her he would've had a week more if Bree hadn't kept the truth hidden from him. Bree apologizes for that one more time, and Keith says "That's my son. How could you keep him from me, what were you thinking?" Bree says she isn't proud of herself, but she didn't wanna lose him. Keith tells her to not make it sound romantic because what she did was unbelievably selfish. Bree realizes he's right. He says that in order for their relationship to work, they have to be honest with one another. She says she feels terrible, and asks him to please not be angry, to which he replies he is angry, but mostly at the ongoing situation. He says he's sure the two of them will get past his, and proceeds to hug her.
Keith comes home from the airport and Bree asks him if their flight was on time. He says it was. He kept hoping for an 8-hour delay and yet they left for the gate 3 minutes earlier. Keith says that 3 days before he didn't even know Charlie existed and now he can't picture his life without him, to which Bree replies that his son is a wonderful little boy. Keith agrees, and proceeds to say that during his childhood, when his dad was in the army, he'd be gone for 6-7 months in a row, which lead Keith to swear he'd never do anything of the sort to his son. He actually told Charlie "I'll see you before you know it", like his dad used to say to him, which always means "I have no idea when I'll see you". Bree wishes there was anything she could do, but he replies "There's nothing anyone can do, it is what it is".
In bed, Keith tells Bree he realizes what she could for him: they could both move together to Florida. She sold her business, her kids are grown, there's nothing keeping her there, and with his job he can work anywhere. Bree says it would be an adventure, definitely, but she can't. He asks her why, and she simply says that Fairview is her home. Keith understands that, but there is no other way for him to be close to Charlie, unless he moves there without her, and he can't do that because long-distance relationships never work and he doesn't want to jeopardize what they have. He wishes her a good night sleep and tells he'll keep thinking of a solution to his problem. Bree is saddened by this.
Keith is playing with a baseball whilst thinking about Charlie when Bree interrupts him. He plans on distracting himself with a movie, but Bree tells him he shouldn't be thinking of getting his mind off of his son. She then tells him he needs to move with Florida. He keeps saying long-distance relationships never work, and Bree says he's in one of those right now, with his son. And one of those two relationships won't work out, and it has to his with her. Keith says the problem is he loves her, and she loves him too. Bree says she has been kidding herself ever since they met, thinking their age difference doesn't matter, but it does, because it means she's lived her life quite fully, including the part about raising kids, but he hasn't, not yet, and he's always wanted children. And whereas she's fallen in and out of love with many men in her life, she's never fallen out of love with her children. He may think he'll never love another woman the way he loves her, but she knows he will. Keith says he doesn't see how that's possible, and Bree tells him that's because he's young. Bree tells him he's given her so much, and asks him to please let her give this to him.

Quotes
Stella: (to Lynette) Hey, why don't you and the whole "fam-damily" come to my house for dinner Sunday night?
Lynette: I thought you were coming here Sunday night, I was gonna send one of the kids to pick you up.
Stella: Nah... I think it's better if you come to me.
Lynette: Oh, but Sunday is a school night, and Tom's got an early meeting Monday morning... how about Saturday?
Stella: Nah... Sunday. Oh, heads up: dinners at the center are fancy, you'll have to squeeze those boys of yours into some jackets and ties.
(Stella gets up and prepares to leave)

Lynette: B-but, mom... mom... MOM! Are you not listening? It's not gonna work for us.
Stella: I would think you would wanna make it work, Lynette. Given everything I'm gonna be doing for the family.
Lynette: Are you blackmailing me?
Stella: No! I'm inviting you to dinner. If you can't make it, I can ask one of your sisters.
(Stella winks at her and then leaves; Lynette is less than pleased with her mother's behavior)
Gabrielle: (to Carlos) I love therapy!
Carlos: (apparently skeptic) Really?
Gabrielle: Yeah! It's like a talk show, where I'm the guest and the only topic is me.
Dr. Wyner: Gaby, why don't you like to talk about your childhood?
Gabrielle: What's the point? The past is the past.
Dr. Wyner: Well, sometimes what happens to us in the past affects who we are today.
Gabrielle: (changing the subject) Oh, by the way, Jagger? Big cuddler.
Dr. Wyner: Gaby, come on. We're gonna have to go deeper here.
Gabrielle: Well, that's the thing about me: there is no deeper. Ask any of my friends. I'm the shallowest person they know. I'm just... skin, a little blood, and stories about Keith Richards drinking out of my shoes.
Dr. Wyner: You don't have to be afraid. Let's talk about your childhood.
Gabrielle: Do you have any wine?
Dr. Wyner: We don't really do wine in therapy.
Gabrielle: Ah! Well, you should. A few glasses and you'd have your patients whining about how daddy didn't love them in half the time.
(nighttime on Wisteria Lane, as Keith Watson walks home carrying a pizza box)
Mary Alice: (narrating) It doesn't matter where we're going... it doesn't matter how quickly we try to get there... it doesn't matter that we never look back. The past we left behind will still find a way... (Amber watches from a distance as Keith enters the house)... to catch up to us.
Monroe: Your landlady's showing me an apartment. I figured now we're back in each other's lives, it would be better if I lived close.
Susan: Yeah, uh... Here's the thing about that. There's close... and then there's "Glenn Close".

Full Recap
Stephanie slows down and finds herself on the street near her home as the military and police order everyone to go their homes and stay off the streets. She runs to a FBI detective and asks what's going on, but no one seems to notice her. Stephanie goes inside and watches as Jim, Daphne, and JJ try to escape out of the house. They can't see or hear her either, and Jim tells the children that Stephanie is waiting for them at Katie's. As Stephanie tries to get through to her husband, she's suddenly pulled back and finds herself outside on a now-quiet street.

Stephanie goes into the house and finds everything back to normal. Jim asks what happened, and notes that she should take it easy since she was recently injected with trilsettum. He leaves for Detective Frank Cordero's farewell party and meets George there. Jim admits that he's worried about Stephanie. Cordero thanks them for coming and expresses his appreciation for Jim's vigilante activities.

Daphne tells JJ what she read from Litchfield's mind, about how someone would hurt him if JJ didn't solve the equations. Stephanie overhears them and asks what is going on, and tells her son not to do any more work for Litchfield until she talks to the teacher. Daphne notices that her mother is distracted but Stephanie insists that everything is fine.

Jim, George, and Cordero leave the bar and Cordero thanks them one last time before he goes to his car. However, as he gets in his car, several gang members drive by and shoot him. Jim and George run over and call an ambulance.

The next morning, George tells Jim that Cordero is dead, and that they've found the shooters' car. The investigating detectives, O'Bannon and Rizzo, come over and ask if they have any theories. After the detectives leaves, Cordero's wife Marta comes over and admits that her husband was worried about a case that he was working.

At school, Chris approaches Daphne and asks her to mind-push his boss into giving him a raise. When she objects, Chris insists that he's a bad guy and there's no harm, and she reluctantly agrees.

At her lab, Stephanie checks Katie's blood and confirms that there's no trilsettum. She recommends that Katie see Dr. Klein, her ob-gyn, and assures Katie that the baby will be fine. Stephanie than superspeeds to the high school to meet Litchfield, but finds herself in the future again. George runs by her without seeing her, goes to a classroom, and gets Daphne and JJ out. He tells them that the authorities have already checked the school and won't come back again, and assures them that their parents can take care of themselves. The police arrive outside and George lies, claiming that he's an FBI agent and that he checked the area and it's clear. JJ bumps a bottle and the FBI agents start to go in, and George delays the agents while Daphne and JJ escape. Stephanie sees a wall calendar with the date March 31 on it, and then is pulled back and finds herself back in the lab on March 29. She explains to Katie that she's run into the future.

Victoria Morrow wakes up in a bed at the secret GlobalTech facility. Mrs. X explains that Joshua brought her there and asked her to bring Victoria back. She then asks Victoria to help her with a special project: watching Katie and finding out what she knows. When Victoria balks, Mrs. X says that if she doesn't help, she can easily take away her life.

At the lab, Katie wonders if Stephanie were hallucinating, and Stephanie confirms that it's happened before. She wonders why they're being hunted, and admits that she hasn't told Jim about what she's seen. As Stephanie gets up, she feels weak and Katie insists that they need to check on her, warning that time travel always has consequences.

At the lair, Jim insists on taking care of Cordero's killers himself. He finds a file on a ganger, Rizzo, and George's friend Tyler Carr was the ADA. They go to talk to Carr, who says that Cordero called and said that he had evidence to submit directly to him rather than to the court. However, Carr doesn't know what it is.

Daphne goes to see Chris' boss. Once she's done talking to him, she tries to tell Chris that her power wouldn't work. He realizes that she's lying and insists that he needs the money, and walks away in disgust.

Stephanie comes to see Katie, who says she's made an appointment with Dr. Klein. She then shows Stephanie the test results, which indicate that her chromosomes are showing damage. The more she uses her new power, the closer her body will come to overload. Stephanie refuses to back off, and immediately superspeeds to the precinct house. When she arrives there in the future, she finds soldiers everywhere. Jim, Daphne, and JJ have all been sedated and FBI Agent Norris is interrogating the future Stephanie. He warns her that human rights only apply to human beings, and tells her that they'll eventually find out everything about her and determine if she's worth more to them dead or alive.

At the hospital, Katie arrives to see Dr. Klein and his nurse assures her that he'll be there any second. In the parking garage, Klein arrives and Victoria knocks him out, and then takes on his shape.

Stephanie tells her family what she's seen in the future, and Jim worries about the potential harm to her body. They wonder how the military find out about them, and Stephanie notes that one of them might have given away their secret. She asks JJ about Litchfield, and JJ insists his teacher doesn't know about his powers. He hints that Chris knows, and Jim finds out what happened from Daphne. Stephanie tells her to find Chris and discover if he's told anyone. George calls Jim over to the Cordero house, where two men broke in and knocked Marta down after searching the place. She says that they didn't find anything, and shows Jim and George a hidden safe. George gets Marta out of the way so Jim can break it open. As she takes a call, Jim and George go over the files and confirm that Cordero was preparing to deliver a dirty cop to the DA.

Stephanie prepares to leave for the future again, explaining to JJ that she's going to the future to see what King is doing. When she arrives, she finds Agent Norris interrogating Katie. When she refuses to talk, he threatens to arrest her for obstruction of justice and tries to leave. The agent arrests her and Stephanie collapses in pain. Stephanie hears a newscast about the authorities seeking them out for an incident at City Square at 5:07 p.m., and is pulled back to the present; the day the incident happens.

Stephanie tries to call Jim but can't reach him. She considers altering the present to prevent the incident at City Square, and has JJ work out the calculations to get her there at precisely the right time to find out what happens so she can change it

At the precinct house, George and Jim figure that the gang bangers were paying for police protection, and took out Cordero when he threatened to bring in the people they were paying. George leaves to prepare a speech for Cordero's memorial that afternoon, and O'Bannon calls Jim off in private to explain that Cordero said Jim was someone he could trust. Jim assures him he can trust him with anything, and O'Bannon explains that his partner Rizzo is dirty. He asks Jim to meet him later at a parking structure so he can show him the evidence.

Victoria, disguised as Dr. Klein, checks on Katie. She asks about the baby's father and Katie explains that the Watcher isn't with her. The ultrasound shows nothing unusual, and Victoria/Klein prepares to take what she claims is a sample of amniotic fluid.

As Jim goes out to the parking garage, the gang bangers drive by and open fire. As they leave, Jim realizes that O'Bannon set him up.

JJ finishes the calculations and tells Stephanie how to get to City Square at 5:07 p.m. so she can see what happens. As she prepares to leave, JJ warns that it's dangerous but she insists on going. Once she goes, Daphne gets a call from Chris who says that he'll meet up with her at City Square. He says that his last tow is at City Square that afternoon.

Stephanie arrives at 5:07 p.m. and sees George giving the memorial speech for Cordero. Daphne is meeting with Chris, and Jim is in the crowd looking for a sniper who is targeting George. He spots the killer in a nearby SUV and throws it across the street, as a cameraman gets the entire thing on video. Stephanie is then pulled back to the present, clearly weakened by her trip through time, and explains to JJ that they have to stop Jim from saving George's life.

Jim returns home and Stephanie tells him what she saw happens in fifteen minutes. He tries to call George, who doesn't answer, and prepares to go. Stephanie warns him that he can't let anyone sees his powers, but Jim insists he can't let George die.

At City Square, Daphne talks to Chris, who assures her that he would never reveal her secret. As they hug, Jim arrives and searches for the sniper. He spots the killer, Rizzo, in a nearby SUV, opens the door, and punches him unconscious. O'Bannon moves in on George to finish the job and Jim tries to spot him in the crowd. He calls Daphne and tells her to telepathically scan for O'Bannon.

O'Bannon attaches a silencer to his gun and closes in on George. Daphne manages to pick up his thoughts as he plans to shoot George as he walks by him. She directs her father to O'Bannon, but he can't get there in time without revealing his powers. Realizing that, Daphne walks up to O'Bannon and pushes him into giving her the gun. O'Bannon hands over the gun and walks away.

That night, Stephanie and Jim confront Daphne and want to know what her new powers are. She reluctantly admits that she can "push" people, and that she didn't tell them because it was handy around the house. Stephanie focuses on the fact that their family is safe, and that she should use her powers to make Chris forget, just like the Watcher did with Daphne. Daphne doesn't want to do, insisting that she can trust Chris, but her parents insist that it's only one detail.

At school the next day, Chris finds Daphne and apologizes for asking her to use her powers on his boss. He assures her that it will never happen again, but Daphne admits that she told him too much. She has him remember the first time that he knew she had powers, and then uses her powers to make him forget that or anything since. Daphne then starts to kiss him, but he pushes her away and says that she's the freak from the student council. She realizes that he doesn't remember anything that's happened between them. JJ comes over to tell her that Litchfield has disappeared, and Daphne tells him what happened.

Victoria reports to Mrs. X that Katie is pregnant and shows her the report showing that the trilsettum has integrated itself into Katie's DNA. Mrs. X tells Victoria to steal the baby and raise it herself, and to eliminate Katie once she's delivered the baby.

No Ordinary Family - No Ordinary Animal

While a new super stalks the family on Mrs. X's orders, Daphne and Chris ditch school for a music video shoot, JJ tries to determine Mr. Litchfield's plans, and Katie learns more about her former fiancé.

WATCH VIDEO  HERE!!!

Full Recap
A woman is jogging through the woods, unaware that something is stalking her. It finally leaps out and attacks her, dragging her into the woods. Two men hear her scream and go to investigate, and find her dead.

George shows Jim photos of the dead woman, noting it has five claws instead of four and didn't leave any tracks. Jim asks George to check with the coroner, suspecting that a super is responsible. At home, he suggests to Stephanie that she try to use her access to the project to find out who else that Dr. King has experimented with.

At school, Daphne mentions to Chris that Sara Bareilles is in town filming a video. He figures that she wants to ditch and suggests she use her mind control to do so, but Daphne insists that she doesn't want to overuse that power on others. She also says that she has a history paper to write. Chris gets her to reluctantly agree to ditch with him if she finishes the history paper.

In decathlon practice, J.J. receives different equations than his teammates. When he questions Litchfield about the discrepancy and how the equations are tougher than anything they'd face in competition, Litchfield just tells him to do the work.

Stephanie goes to see King and asks to see the database of patients so she can see what side effects occurred when they received treatment. She brings up the jogger's death, but King insists that they haven't had anyone with that ability.

Lucas Winnick is on the street, using his newly-gained claws to scratch cars. Mrs. X pulls up in his limo and he gets in, and she asks if he's an idiot. She warns him that he screwed up by leaving the body, and that an autopsy may compromise his identity. Winnick says that he had no choice to leave it because the hikers were coming, and Mrs. X tells him to retrieve the body.

At the morgue, the coroner calls George and says there's something he has to see. When George and Jim arrive, they find the coroner dead, clawed to pieces, and the jogger's corpse gone. Back at the lair, Jim figures that someone took the body and killed the coroner to cover their tracks. Stephanie goes over the coroner report and confirms that the corpse contained chemicals similar to those in the Powells' blood. A report of an animal attack comes in on the radio and Stephanie and Jim go to investigate.

Chris approaches JJ and asks him to write Daphne's history report so she can cut school and go to the Sara Bareilles video. When JJ balks, Chris threatens to reveal his superpowers to the public. JJ goes to confront Daphne, realizing that she told Chris the family secret. Daphne says that she doesn't want to lose someone who knows what she can do and cares about her. JJ agrees, but asks her to read Litchfield's mind and find out why the decathlon is so important to him.

Jim goes to the house where the animal attack occurred, and the officer reveals that the body disappeared. The victim was a drug addict and the walls are covered in blood and claw marks. Outside, Jim tells Stephanie what he saw and she invisibly superspeeds inside to take the syringe and confirm that the addict was taking trilsettum.

Daphne and Chris try to sneak out, but Vice Principal Nance spots them and asks what they're up to. Daphne panics, but Chris tells her she can do whatever she needs to. When he orders them to his office, she uses her ability to convince him to excuse them from class and give them some money for gas.

At the lair, Jim, Stephanie, and George go over the information and try to figure why someone is targeting villainous supers. George figures that they're better off dead, and doesn't see the point of putting their lives at risk to stop the killer. Stephanie insists that none of the transformed patients deserve to die, and George gives in. They try to figure out where the animal killer is heading next.

Katie arrives home and finds Winnick waiting for her. He asks where the Watcher is, and Katie says that he isn't staying with her anymore because they broke up. Winnick accepts her claim and starts to leave, but then smells something from Katie. He realizes that it's her and reveals his fangs and claws. As she insists that she's not a super, someone telekinetically throws Winnick into a car.

Later, Katie calls over Stephanie and Jim and insists that the Watcher must be nearby. She panics and telekinetically hurtles something, and they realize that Katie's attacker knew she had superpowers. Jim and Stephanie realize that the killer is going after supers and will target JJ and Daphne. As they leave, Winnick watches them and calls Mrs. X to say that the Powells have superpowers and they're not on her list of supers. She tells him to kill them all.

Litchfield calls King to tell him that JJ won't do the work. King isn't impressed, and tells him to deal with the situation. The bell rings and Litchfield confronts JJ, and tells him that he needs to finish the equations. JJ tries to leave, and Stephanie arrives to take JJ out of school on a "family emergency." Outside, Stephanie asks where Daphne is, and JJ claims that he doesn't know. However, he does admit that he knows Daphne is with Chris and they ditched.

Chris and Daphne arrive at the video shoot, and he convinces Daphne to use her powers to get past the security guard.

Katie works with Jim to make a sketch of her attacker. George is less than thrilled that the other sidekick got superpowers. Once they have a sketch, Jim brings up the police records and Katie spots Winnick. The records say that he's on death row. Stephanie and JJ arrive, and Stephanie confirms that Winnick was the patient that she injected. Jim heads out for Winnick's last known address, while Stephanie goes to the house to find Daphne.

At the Powell home, Winnick goes through Daphne's room and spots the advertisement for the Sara Bareilles videos shoot. He gets Daphne's scent from her clothes and then hears Stephanie as she comes home. Winnick confronts her and assures her that he has Daphne's scent. He assures Stephanie that he's happy she transformed him, and she asks him to spare his family. She superspeeds ahead of him and tells him not to waste his second chance. Winnick wonders if she would do that for him and he retracts his claws as Stephanie says that she understands what he's going through. As she approaches him, he guts her and says her concern means nothing to him, and then leaves to kill Daphne.

At the lair, Katie tries to consciously use her powers without success. Jim returns and reports his lack of success. When he realizes that Stephanie hasn't returned, he goes home and finds the injured Stephanie. She assures him that she's a fast healer and tells him not to call 911. Stephanie blames herself for creating Winnick and cries out for Daphne.

At the video shoot, Daphne thanks Chris for bringing him, unaware that Winnick is in the crowd trying to pick up her scent.

Jim takes Stephanie to the lair, and she tells him to find Daphne. He asks JJ to hack Daphne's emails and he reluctantly does so, finding a text message from Chris.

At the shoot, Daphne gets a text message from Jim and finds somewhere away from the music to call him back. Winnick approaches her and says that the school sent him to tell her the bad news that her mother has been attacked and taken to the hospital. He says that there's no time for her to tell Chris, and she reluctantly goes along with him. As they go, Winnick explains that Stephanie was attacked at her home, and transforms into his animal form. Jim leaps in and knocks Winnick away, and tells Daphne to get away. Winnick comes after him but is unable to penetrate his skin. The two of them leap into the air and Jim tackles Winnick and knocks him back. The two of them smash down onto the ground and Jim finally gets the upper hand. As he beats Winnick, Daphne arrives to stop him before he kills Winnick

Back at the lair, Stephanie's condition worsens and Katie explains that she's contracted an infection. JJ analyzes her room and concerns that she has staph bacteria. He and Katie come up with a possible cure, but Jim says there's only one doctor they can take her to.

Jim brings Stephanie to King and explains that Winnick attacked him, and tells King that it's time for the games to end so they can save Stephanie's life. King agrees to help and starts treating her, but warns that the infection is too widespread. Jim suggests that he administer trilsettum, no matter what the risk. King agrees and starts to give Stephanie an injection, but Jim insists on doing it for his wife. When nothing happens, Jim wants to give Stephanie another shot but King advises him to wait. Stephanie recovers consciousness briefly and Jim tells her to rest.

At school, Daphne comes to drop off the equations that JJ completed. When Litchfield reads them, she reads his mind and hears him thinking that "he" would kill him if he didn't get the equations. Daphne quickly leaves and calls to leave a message for JJ that they need to talk. Chris catches up to her and asks about Stephanie, and then says he had a lot of fun with her. Daphne suggests that they take a break from using her powers, but Chris says he has a wish list of things they can do using her powers.

King receives the email from Litchfield with the equations and smiles in triumphant. Mrs. X, the CEO of GlobalTech, comes in and demands to know why the supers are running free. He apologizes, but Mrs. X says that it's her fault for letting him working without oversight. From now on she plans to oversee everything he does, and asks if there are any more surprises. King tells her that he's close to solving the equation for power permanence, and shows her JJ's work.

Daphne comes to the lab to get Stephanie's files. Katie is there and explains that she has powers because the Watcher impregnated her.

Jim arrives home and Stephanie greets him. She's ready to go for a run, and insists that she's fine. Jim worries that there could be side effects, but Stephanie insists on going. She goes outside and runs, but finds herself starting to dissolve into light.
