Full Recap
Young meets with the crew, who inform him that much of Destiny is irrevocably damaged after their battle with the Cluster. Dozens of systems are on the verge of breakdown, and the scientists start to say they have no solutions. Rush insists that they have to continue on because they have no other choices, but Eli says that he and Ginn worked out a way to dial the ninth chevron by channeling the wormhole through a star. Rush objects, but Young says that they can no longer continue the mission if Destiny can't function. The colonel apologizes and Rush stalks off.

Rush goes to the bridge, and Greer informs him that he's just received orders to keep Rush off the bridge. He informs Rush that he has been banned from anyone that he can press buttons. Rush goes to see Young, who admits that they didn't want Rush to lock them out of the dialing programs. Eli is using the communication stones to check his math with the experts back on Earth, but Rush warns that Eli is no astrophysicist and can't estimate all the variables. He asks to address the crew, and Young agrees to stand by him.

Dr. Lee arrives in Eli's body and admits that they weren't able to do the work that Eli did. As the ship comes out of FTL, Eli reverts to his original body, and Scott and Brody take him to pass on Dr. Lee's information.

Rush sees the crew preparing to leave and goes to the Gateroom. Young is there and asks him to estimate how many people that they need to pilot Destiny Rush is surprised to learn that Young plans to stay on Destiny. Telford interrupts them and says that they're need on the bridge. Rush and Young go there and Volker explains that there is an object orbiting the star, and they received a radio broadcast from it... from Rush. The signal comes in again, from Rush, saying that there's a shuttle coming toward them. Volker confirms that it's a subspace broadcast and that the shuttle coming is their shuttle... even though the shuttle is docked with Destiny. Rush calls back and his counterpart says that if they dial Earth, it won't work. Rush-2 says that he's come back through time from 12 hours in the future. He proves he is who he claims to Young's satisfaction by relating the conversation they just had.

In the Gateroom, Scott and Chloe discuss what they have waiting for them on Earth. Eli wonders if they'll still hang out once they're back, and he is skeptical that Stargate Command will invite him to join them. Young calls to order Scott and Greer to shuttle bay 2. Rush-2 emerges and yells that Telford will try to kill them all if they listen to him. Young calls Johansen to tell her that the evacuation is on hold and she should report to the infirmary.

Johansen checks on Rush-2, who explains that he was injured in an overload, and was forced to abandon ship. He tells them that Destinypassed through a solar flare when they locked the ninth chevron, and it affected the entire ship. Rush notes that he won't have to go through what his future self went through, and they debate the ramifications of time travel. Rush-2 explains what happened.

Rush addresses the crew and asks them to stay to complete Destiny's mission. Young stands with him and says that they need ten volunteers. Greer steps forward immediately, then Volker, Johansen, Chloe, Scott, James, Varro, and several others. Eli hesitates for a moment, and then starts to join them. Telford speaks up and insists that they've completed their mission to explore the ninth chevron address. There is no noble universe to meet God or save the universe, there is only the day the ship dies. He threatens to take them by force, and Greer wishes him luck if he tries. Telford finally tells everyone else to prepare for evacuation, and he'll go first to warn Starship Command that the others are coming in fifteen minutes.

Rush-2 explains that 15 minutes later, everyone was dead. When Camille suggests that they take advantage of what Rush-2 learned the first time, he explains what they did.

The ship enters the star and Eli dials the ninth chevron. The crew is unaware that they've passed through a solar flare, meaning they've jumped 12 hours into the past. Telford goes through first but alarms go off and Rush confirms that the wormhole is unstable. Eli can't shut it off and Rush tries to stabilize the power. They manage to pull it off and people start going through the wormhole in a panic, trampling some of their own in the process. The systems overload and Rush warns that they can't stay ahead of it. Young orders the volunteers to go through as well, and Rush tells Eli to go. The ship starts to explode and Young tells Eli to go. Rush tells Young to go through while he maintains the connection, and the colonel and Greer reluctantly leaves. The Stargate shuts down, trapping Rush onboard.

Rush-2 explains that Destiny managed to survive thanks to its automatic systems, but not everyone died.

Rush uses the communication stones and finds himself back on Earth, in Telford's body. Telford is the only one who made it through alive. OnDestiny, Telford in Rush's body realizes that no one else made it through.

Varro asks Scott what the delay is. Young calls to say that they're not going through. Telford wants to use the stones to confirm Rush's stories, but Young warns that they can't do it within a star.

As Destiny approaches the star, they spot the abandoned hulk of theDestiny from the original timeline. Eli blames himself for the deaths of the counterpart crew, while Brody notices that the damage is confined to the engineering sections. He has an idea and runs off.

Rush-2 says that the Destiny-2 is falling back into the sun. Brody runs in and informs them that they can use the other Destiny for spare parts. They're too close to the sun for shuttles and accelerating away, and Rush suggests that they use the Stargate to jump to the other Stargate. Telford wants to go over, and Rush-2 wants to go with them. Young is reluctant to let him go, but Rush and Telford both agree.

Brody briefs the exploration party on what they need, and Young warns that the conditions will be dangerous. The ship makes the FTL jump to the proper range and Eli sends the kino through to confirm that the other Destiny is viable. They go through and start collecting parts, as the temperature rises as the ship drops toward the sun. The Rushes confirm they have 40 minutes until the shields collapse, and the crews spread out. As Camille goes to make a report to Homeworld Command, Eli figures that he killed the crew, and only a freak of physics stopped it from happening again.

The crew gathers whatever they can, avoiding the parts of the ship that have already become dangerous. They reach the 20-minute mark and Telford orders everyone back to the Stargate. As the Rushes head back, they spot a piece of equipment capable of doubling their weapon capability. Young okays the recovery and Rush goes to get the tools they need to remove it while Rush-2 starts disassembling it. Telford arrives and asks Rush-2 what went wrong. Rush-2 insists that he tried to save the others, but Telford doesn't believe it and demands to know what really happened. When he grabs Rush-2, Rush-2 shoves him back into the power conduits and inadvertently electrocutes him.

Rush goes to the Gateroom to get the necessary tools, and Scott insists on going with him. They dial back, while Camille returns to tell them that Telford on Earth wants to talk to his own self when he returns.

Rush-2 starts to panic and leaves through a nearby door.

Young contacts Scott and tells him to locate Telford. Scott and Rush find Telford's corpse and Rush realizes where Rush-2 has gone. He runs off after his counterpart, and Young orders Scott to let him go and get back through the Stargate.

Rush finds Rush-2 in the room with the Ancients' knowledge chair. Rush-2 explains that it was an accident, and Rush warns that the others won't believe him. He asks Rush-2 what really happened, but Rush-2 insists that he told the truth. Rush-2 figures he has nothing to lose by downloading the Ancients' knowledge, and asks Rush for his help. Rush goes to the console and activates the chair, beginning the download, and then runs for the Gateroom. He arrives just in time and goes through with Scott. Destiny-2 falls into the sun and is destroyed, taking Rush-2 with it.

Aboard Destiny, Camille asks Rush where his counterpart is. Rush lies and says that he didn't find Rush-2, and Young notes that he must be pleased that they can fix the ship and go on with the mission. Rush agrees but doesn't seem entirely convinced.
